The only other analogue metering, other than the main mix meter, is an LED for each compressor, which glows brighter to indicate more gain reduction. Unlike on the Model 24, all of the I/O other than the headphone outputs are presented on the rear panel, which is arguably abetter arrangement. It offers 22 physical channels12 mono and 5 stereoand each can be independently set to one of three input sources: Live, for signals coming through the analog inputs USB, for signals coming from the computer and MTR, for playback from the built-in, SD-card-based, multitrack recorder. The click can also be switched in and out during playback or recording, and set to play only during the countin or throughout the song. For individual track-arming in such a setup, you'd need either a computer or a more upmarket device such as a JoeCo Black Box Recorder.

I have a Tascam 24 mixer, I can't get functioning with Windows 10 computer. Another thing to note is that phantom power is global it can be applied to all the mic preamps or to none.
The frequency for the mid band on the Model 24s stereo channels was fixed, so the Model 12 is again more versatile here.
Plenty of mixers offer multitrack USB audio interfacing, but theres nothing quite like the Model 12.
